We are pleased to announce that Launca Medical's overseas business had grown fivefold in 2021, with annual deliveries of Launca intraoral scanners surging at the fastest rate in years, as we leverage our proprietary 3D scanning technology roots and continued investment in R&D to upgrade our products. Right now, we have brought Launca efficient and effective digital workflows to dentists in over 100 countries and more to come. Product Enhancement

The award-winning Launca intraoral scanner and its software have gotten significant updates. Relying on more advanced algorithms and imaging technology, our DL-206 series intraoral scanners are fully upgraded to greatly improve scan workflow especially in aspects of ease of use and accuracy. We also developed multiple AI scan functions making the scanning process faster and smoother, and the All-in-One touch screen makes it easier than ever for dentists and patients to communicate, further enhancing patient acceptance of treatment.

Growing Digital awareness 

With the aging trend of the world population, the dental industry is evolving. People's demand is not only about treatment, but gradually upgraded to a comfortable, high-end, aesthetic, and fast treatment procedure. This is driving more and more dental clinics to shift to digital and invest in intraoral scanners - winning formulae for modern clinics. We saw more and more dentists choosing to embrace digitalization - embrace the future of dentistry.

Hygiene under the pandemic 

In 2021, the Coronavirus continues to affects all aspects of people's lives around the world. In particular, dental health professionals may be at risk due to close contact with patients during dental procedures. Studies have shown that dental impressions have high levels of contamination because fluids from patients can be found in dental impressions. Not to mention dental impressions usually take some time to reach dental labs.

However, with intraoral scanners, digital workflow reduces steps and work time compared to a traditional workflow. The dental technician receives the standard STL files recorded by the intraoral scanner in real-time and uses CAD/CAM technology to design and fabricate the prosthetic restoration with limited human intervention. This is also why patients are more inclined to a digital clinic.
